Two new women's boutiques open in The Fisher Building

Detroit has two new fashion destinations that opened this past holiday weekend. Yama and The Peacock Room's flagship store are now open inside the Fisher Building.

Retail fashion entrepreneur Rachel Lutz is behind both of the stores. You may already recognize her name. She's behind the widly popular Peacock Room, which opened in 2011, and Frida, which opened in 2014 inside the Park Shelton Hotel.

Yama caters to the modern woman, and the pieces reportedly have architectual, edgy influence. Like Peacock Room and Frida, Yama will cater to women sized 0 - 26 at all price points.

The Peacock Room's flagship store has been vastly expanded, and holds true to its vintage-inspired design.

Rachel joined us on The Nine to tell us more about the stores, and to show us some looks from the stores. You can hear from her in the video player above.
