Wayne's Back to School Fun Fest

(WJBK) - It's nearly time for kids to head back to school, and a special event is being held this week to help get families ready.

the Back to School Fun Fest is Thursday, August 18 at the Wayne County Health Department.

They're offering dental, hearing and vision screenings, sports physicals, childhood immunizations and other back-to-school necessities. A backpack with school supplies will also be given out to the first 300 students.

The event starts at 10 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m. The address for the Wayne County Health Department building is 33030 Van Born Road.
