Canines and Couture to Benefit Detroit Dog Rescue

The Townsend Hotel will be going to the dogs for a special cause next week. 

The dog-friendly Canines and Couture Fundraiser 2016 runs from 2-5 p.m. March 20. Participants will enjoy the hotel's award-winning cuisine, get a chance to bid on high-end raffle items, and mingle with local TV personalities, including Fox2's Amy Lange. 

Tickets are $55 and proceeds will benefit the Detroit Dog Rescue (DDR). Animals that are up-to-date with their vaccinations are welcome to attend for free. 

Kristina Rinaldi, executive director of the DDR, stopped by the Fox2 Studios Saturday with a few of her four-legged friends to highlight the event and raise awareness.
