Cars For Cancer fundraiser

The Kids Without Cancer organization will be the recipient of the upcoming fundraiser 'Cars For Cancer' being hosted by The Reef, a medical marijuana provisioning center located in Detroit. Cancer is the #1 killer of disease of children in the United States and The Reef is proud to partner with Kids Without Cancer to help raise much needed funds by hosting their first Cars for Cancer event.

Car enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their Exotic, Classic, Muscle, Import or Motorcycle to the event for all to see. Attendees will vote on the best car in each category and winner will take home a trophy.

Kids Without Cancer is a national organization helping to eradicate pediatric cancer by funding cutting edge research at Children's Hospital, University of Michigan and Karmanos Cancer Institute. Children with their parents who are battling cancer will be attending.

There will be fun for the entire family. Stroll thru rows of cars, enjoy live bands, food and an area for children with face painting, bounce house and more.

The Reef spokesperson Mort Meisner recently said "It's important to us at The Reef to give back to the community and in this case assisting children and their families who are battling pediatric cancer. All money raised from sponsorships, as well as, all profits from sales at The Reef provisioning center this day will be donated to 'Kids Without Cancer'. Of course, donations are welcome. The Reef will be selecting a new charity each month in their effort to give back to the community all year.
