Clinton River Canoe Classic

MT. CLEMENS, Mich. (WJBK) -- The third annual Clinton River Canoe Classic will be held on Saturday June 27th.

In 2014, the CRCC partnered with the Clinton River Watershed Council to design and fabricate bridge signs for paddlers on the Clinton River.

The river flows 80 miles from its headwaters to Lake St. Clair near the city of Mt. Clemens.

The Clinton River Canoe Classic is one of only 14 Michigan Canoe Sanctioned Races.

In 2014, the Clinton River Canoe Classic was voted the best race in Michigan by the members of the Michigan Canoe Racing Association

This year, the event is one of the showcase events of the Downtown Mt. Clemens Summer Magic Celebration.
