Hundreds of Detroiters are expected to gather on the city’s east side tomorrow to send a message of peace. Detroit Life Experience presents its second annual peace rally featuring leaders of local religious groups and community-action organizations.
The rally begins at 2 p.m. at Pingree Park on East Warren and Canfield roads. Roughly 300 people showed up for the inaugural event last year and organizers are expecting an even stronger turnout this year.
Local high school student Jaylin Harris is involved in organizing and promoting the event and dropped by the Fox2 News Studios Saturday morning for a preview.
