Flag Football and Fitness for a Good Cause

Football season is fast approaching and weekend warriors are ramping up their training locally for flag football.

Next week, two local teams will be battling in a seven-on-seven game for a good cause.

The Eric Wynns Living the Legacy Foundation is a non-profit started in memory of an aspiring local football player tragically killed in a car crash last year. Its mission is to inspire talented student athletes to achieve their goals and dreams in education and sports. Teams will gather to support that effort at 2 p.m. next Sunday at Southfield Lathrup High School to play flag football, with all proceeds headed to the foundation. 

Reggie Wynns, Eric Wynns' father, dropped by the Fox2 Studios Sunday morning to preview the event with local fitness gurus that demonstrated their football training techniques.
