Folk Music Star Audra Kubat Releases New Album

Local award-winning folk singer/songwriter Audra Kubat will release her latest album, "Mended Vessel" to the public next week during special performances as part of the Friday Night Live series at the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA).

It's the sixth album for the recording artist, who recently won the Detroit Music Award, and has partnered with the DIA to help inspire and teach others to become strong songwriters. 

She returned to the Fox2 Studios Saturday to preview the event and perform some of her original material.
