A Detroit non-profit is offering a unique bike tour of the city designed to help fight homelessness.
The Handlebars for the Homeless Bike Tour is scheduled to begin tomorrow morning and will take participants on a 15-mile ride through the city and around some of the Detroit's hidden treasures. Proceeds will benefit the Neighborhood Service Organization's efforts to get people off the streets. Participants must be at least 14 years old, and all youth must be accompanied by an adult.
Sheilah Clay, president and ceo of the Neighborhood Service Organization, visited the Fox2 News Studios Saturday morning with a bicycle from Detroit Bikes to preview the event.
