Michigan Women Who Made a Difference

The Jewish Historical Society of Michigan's Michigan Women Who Made a Difference (MWWMD) project seeks to document, preserve and share the stories and achievements of Jewish women who helped build and shape communities across the state.

A recent book highlights local women whose passion, dedication and innovation helped enrich the communities they lived in. They will be part of the focus of the Michigan Women Who Made a Difference Jewish Voices Conference June 27 at Temple Emanuel in Grand Rapids.
Jeannie Weiner, vice president of the Jewish Historical Society, and author Aimee Ergas visited the Fox2 Studios Sunday morning to discuss the book, preview the conference, and discuss the overall importance of some of the more unheralded women that played key roles in Michigan's history.
