Pooches on Parade with I Heart Dogs Rescue and Animal Haven

The I Heart Dogs Rescue and Animal Haven will host its third annual Pooches on Parade gala fundraiser at 7 p.m. May 4 at the Barrister Gardens, 24225 Harper Ave., in St. Clair Shores.

The mission of the shelter is to foster the "no-kill" ethic: to rescue, rehabilitate, re-home and provide refuge for homeless dogs, as well as providing a haven for the pets belonging to domestic violence survivors.

This fun night out for the entire family includes dinner, cocktails, cheer raffle and a silent auction which will help raise much needed funds for the shelter.
