Second Annual Garden City Hockey for Heroes Charity Game

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a serious condition that impacts military veterans and emergency first responders at an alarming rate.

A local group of former military men still serving our communities as police officers and firefighters are combining their desire to spread PTSD awareness with their love for hockey. They'll take each other on today for charity at the Second Annual Hockey for Heroes event at the Garden City Ice Arena at 2 p.m. Proceeds benefiting  police, firefighter and military members seeking treatment for PTSD.

Several veterans playing in the game dropped by the Fox2 News Studios Saturday morning to discuss the game and the importance of the funds raised.
