Xenith Prep Kickoff Classic Aug. 24-26

(WJBK) - The Xenith Prep Kickoff Classic is the premier season-opening high school football showcase in Michigan.

The event will feature 5 of the top 10 season-opening games in the state, including the opening match-up at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24 between #3 West Bloomfield and #5 Walled Lake Western. The closing game will be on Sat., Aug. 26 at 6 p.m. between the defending MHSAA Division 2 State Champion Detroit Martin Luther King vs. the winningest all-time team in the state Indiana and perennial powerhouse Indianapolis Cathedral.

The event games will feature more than 25 Division 1 recruits.
