Is technology a pain in your neck? You are not alone. For people who sit at a computer all day and those who spend hours checking their smart phones neck pain is quite common.

Dr. Art Niederkohr, from Anchor Bay Spine Center in New Baltimore, says there are some ways to minimize the negative effects of technology on our bodies.

1). Limit texting and looking at Smartphone to 10 minutes at a time.
2). Have your head over your shoulders, chin tucked in and shoulders back while looking at something on your cell phone screen, computer, or e- reader.
3). Have the top two thirds of the screen at eye level on your personal computer at home.
4). The computer screen is 18 to 24 inches from your eyes.
