How about a gift that will make mom happy and healthy - the give of a good night's rest. 

Many of us are sleep deprived and the consequences are pretty serious. So just in time for Mother's Day FOX 2 talked to a renowned sleep expert. 

First, let's talk about  the consequences of even one hour of sleep loss for one night, which can be an increase in chance for heart attacks. 

All moms who are sleep-deprived have a higher risk of illness, from heart disease, to Type-2 diabetes, stroke, obesity and depression.

Three things can help give mom a good night's rest by giving her the gift of sleep:

-Bath accessories {helps mom wind down]

-High quality sheets [whatever makes her feel comfortable, works]

-New pillow 

And you should actually make sure you've got the right pillow - don't just grab what's on sale.

The other gift you need to give her is time, meaning let mom go to bed so she's logging seven to eight hours of sleep. You can't keep bugging mom well past bedtime.
