Drinking beer reduces your risk of Type 2 diabetes. The study is in the Journal of European Association for the Study of Diabetes that people who drink beer 3-4 times a week were less likely to develop diabetes than those who never drink. 

Drinking beer helps reduce your risk of kidney stones. A study published with Italian research found drinking beer reduces your risk of kidney stones by 41 percent. Part of the reason is, you know, it helps you frequent the restroom.
