1.      Acknowledge the situation
2.      Be supportive, remain present for the person.
3.      Don’t try to fix the problem
4.      Invite them to do something with you, spend time with you

How to ease holiday stress:
1.      Don’t procrastinate when buying holiday gifts.
2.      Create a budget
3.      Prepare food for large family gatherings ahead of time (freeze items, if possible)
4.      Plan for special events and activities. Then, enjoy the time you spend with family - live in the moment.
