Wolchek investigates: Crook fools everyone - even feds?

Every businessman dreams of a rich investor who will back them.

For as many as 50 businessmen, that investor was Sam Ajami.

Fox 2's Rob Wolchek found out he was a crook and should have been in prison.

This is the story of a hustler, a lawyer, who say they were duped into participating in an alleged multimillion dollar fraud ring.

It is the story of victims, a businessman who lost $38,000 and another who lost $61,000.

Behind it all is the crook who fooled everybody, the hustler, the lawyer, the victims and the United States government - who could've and should've had him locked up in a federal prison.

Attractive ads are the bait, the victims say before being introduced to Sam Ajami, a big shot in a fancy suit who specialized in private investment.
