Metro Detroit author shows kids value of cleanliness in new book

(WJBK) -- "Going ... Going ... Clean," written by Nichole Payne of Brownstown, is a fun way to introduce kids to the value of cleanliness. With imagination and a love for the game of baseball, young Jaden can turn a white sock into a round leather ball. Will the sock land in his mitt and end the game? Payne has been a teacher for 20 years. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree and from the University of Michigan with a master's degree. Payne has taught pre-school through eighth grade. Her passion lies in teaching, reading and writing. Many of her stories are inspired by her own children. Payne currently resides in Michigan with her husband and three children.
