2 Indianapolis teens safe after being kidnapped, rescued in Detroit

Aaron and Emma Blackwell, the two Indianapolis teens who were kidnapped from their home are both safe and back home Tuesday.

13-year-old Emma was returned to her home, 23 hours after she was kidnapped. 

Her brother, 16-year-old Aaron was rescued in Detroit Monday night after a high speed chase ended on Detroit's southwest side. 

According to police the teens were taken as part of a drug dispute.

Investigators say the teens were kidnapped by three gunman who came for their older sister, Whitney Blackwell who is thought to have stolen cash and drugs from a Detroit man. 

Police tell Fox 2 that Emma and Aaron are now in the care of Child Protective Services.

At this time, police have either people in custody for questioning. Whitney Blackwell according to police remains in custody in Indianapolis on a traffic charge but she could face charges stemming from this incident.
