Thief steals van from Ann Arbor hotel with Siberian huskies

It is a situation you never want to happen, you come to a city for an event, only to have your vehicle stolen leaving you without a mode of transportation.

However for Chicago resident Theresa Pryzbylski, getting her van back is the last thing on her mind.

Inside of her van was her three Siberian huskies that she brought with her to attend a dog show in Ann Arbor this weekend. She brought four with her but only three were stolen she says.

Pryzbylski says she was taking one of her dogs out for a walk Friday evening outside of the Ann Arbor Red Roof Inn on S. State Street when she realized her van was not where she had left it.

She says the van was locked and the keys were in her pocket.

As of Saturday afternoon two of the dogs, Shelby and Denali were found in the city of Detroit. 6-year-old Mandy is still missing along with the van.

The van is described as a 2005 Ford Econoline Van, dark blue in color with a license plate of 977-0567.

UPDATE: Mandy has also been found and reunited with Pryzbylski. Click here for more.
