3 injured in apartment fire in Oak Park

Three people have been injured in an overnight apartment fire in Oak Park. 

The fire began around 2 a.m. Thursday at a lower-level apartment the Rue Versailles Apartments near the intersection of 10 Mile and Greenfield roads. We're told a teenager and two children were inside the apartment where the fire started. 

Some residents had to jump out of their second-floor units to make it to safety. 

One of the injured persons is in critical condition and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Officials have not said who has been injured or what the cause of the injuries was. 

Eight families are now displaced. 

Investigators are still on scene working to determine how the fire started.
