Man sentenced for shooting at Highland Park nightclub

A man convicted of a deadly shooting inside a Highland Park nightclub was sentenced Thursday morning.

Cordell Jones will spend 33-60 years in prison for the shooting that left one person dead and several others injured. The shooting happened last September inside the club DeJa Vu.

Jones was briefly on the Michigan's Most Wanted list. He eventually was found at a house in Detroit.

Jones gave a lackluster apology in court, which seemed to really irritate the judge. The judge asked Jones what he wanted to say before the sentencing, but wasn't expecting the answer he got.

Jones has said in court he will appeal the sentence.
