Details still murky after woman missing from Movement was found in hospital

A Saginaw woman who went missing from the Movement Festival in Detroit, was found at a local hospital.

Grace Martinez, 20, was separated from her friend over the weekend was listed as a Jane Doe at Beaumont Royal Oak. Martinez was too incoherent to give her name after arriving.

She was dropped off by an unidentified man. He is said to be cooperating with police. Drugs were found in her system, but it is not clear if she took them willingly.

"I know some of the drugs in her system and it's not good," said Grace's mother, Betty Martinez. "If somebody slipped her something and if she went on from there, that's bad. If somebody didn't and she did this to herself, that's even worse."

Betty said that there are not many details known, adding that a detective went to interview her Thursday at Beaumont.

"I got a call from Beaumont Hospital, and (they) told me that my daughter was there," she said, recalling how she got the news. "When she came in she was in very bad shape. She had been there awhile and they finally got her able to talk.

"She told them my name and my phone number."

In the initial report Wednesday, Grace Martinez's friend Dani said that she saw her talking to an older man throughouot the night.

Grace's mom doesn't believe that to be the case.

"We've seen some videos, we've got some people who went through all the videos that were taken there at the concert," she said. "I think we have the footage from some other videos and we don't see anybody who fit that description."

Detroit police said that foul play is not suspected.
