Police have taken a suspected bank robber into custody after a standoff at a Clinton Township home.

Marysville Police say the Genisys Credit Union was robbed around 9:30 a.m. Friday. The robbery involved two men and a woman who drove off in a mini van.

The suspects then switched vehicles and got into a white SUV, leading police on a chase down westbound I-94. The chase ended nearly 40 miles later near Metro Parkway when the suspects got out and started running.

Police were able to catch two of the suspects, and were pursuing the third when he barricaded himself inside a home in the 37 thousand block of Union Lake Road. It is unclear at this time if he knew anybody inside the home.

The suspect surrendered and exited the home just after 11:45 a.m.

No employees were injured at the credit union during Friday's robbery.

Police say the three people match the suspects' descriptions from a bank robbery a few weeks ago at the Fifth Third bank in Port Huron, which is near Marysville.
