Berkley middle school girls arrested for hit list, plan of attack

Two middle school students in Berkley have been arrested for threatening to attack their school.

A pair of girls were taken into custody Friday at Anderson Middle School. In a letter sent to parents, the school says they were found with a notebook containing "troubling information."

FOX 2 has obtained photos of that notebook. It shows what appears to be a two-page hit list, containing names of both teachers and students the girls had a grudge against.

On another page, it appears the girls also wrote out details and drew a diagram of a plan of attack, including which rooms of the school to hit first  and which doors to lock so their victims couldn't get away.

A parent at the school tells us their plan was discovered as they tried to recruit other girls to join them in the attack.

Right now the two girls are being held at The Children's Village awaiting charges.

They have both been expelled from the school.
