Jane Bashara was found dead in early 2012 in her Mercedes-Benz in a Detroit alley after she was strangled by a handyman at her home. Prosecutors say Bob Bashara arranged his wife's death so he could lead a lifestyle of bondage and domination with women who called him "Master Bob."

"I will spend my life with my husband raising our son and watching over Jane's family in her absence, and I will do it with a clear conscience and a pure heart knowing that I have honored my sister," said Jane's sister Julie Rowe. "And all of it - every moment - will be all the more sweet knowing that you are uncomfortable, miserable, alone and in prison where you belong for the rest of your pathetic life."
