Brawl breaks out inside Detroit Coney Island restaurant

It's a cold weather crime captured by surveillance cameras at the Oscar Number One Coney Island on West Chicago in Detroit.

The owner of the restaurant says the video shows three men who didn't buy a single thing hanging out, then arguing with another man. That altercation eventually leads to a full-on fist fight.

According to the video, several punches were thrown before patrons were able to break up the fight.

Mark Deda is the owner of Oscar's.

"We have a very good neighborhood here, we have good people but at night they are afraid instances like this have good people staying away from coming to the eatery," says Deda.

Deda says since the temperatures have gone down, loitering has gone way up.

"The gas station has complaints, the liquor store has complaints and it is so cold outside and people are trying to get warm. On top of that they always create problems."

Deda says he is sharing this video to open people eyes to an issue he says needs to be taken seriously and solved.

In this case the video shows the victim was able to limp away with some bumps and bruises, but what about next time?

Crimes like this could give Deda and other restaurant owners no other choice but to leave and serve up food where else than in the city of Detroit.

Deda says, "we are trying to stay here and want to be here but if this continues we have to get out."
