City of Farmington Hills using clever way to fend off invasive species

Say hello to Farmington Hill's newest herbicide.

It's efficient, pleasant to look at and there are no dangerous chemicals involved.

Using break-through technology called "chewing", the city has hired Pilot the goat to apply his skill of eating. The goat has been assigned the job of pushing back the invasive species surrounding the city's hall storm water detention basin.

Pilot got his name from this pilot program being applied in the city.

The good news is his droppings won't be harmful to public health, however the city would like the public to leave him alone as he works.
