Sunday night, the community and Davis's family got together to celebrate Davis, and what she meant to all of those around her.
Davis's mother, Rashon Cooper-Black says even though the investigation is ongoing, that is not stopping her or her family from doing whatever they can to help. Cooper-Black says she is willing to do whatever it takes to bring her daughter's killer to justice, even if it means raising the reward herself.
"I can't sleep, she can't rest in heaven until somebody pays for what they did to my baby," Cooper-Black says.
For nearly ten days now questions have kept the 20-year-olds' mother awake. "They took my heart, soul, energy. I don't have nothing left, I just want them caught."
Davis' mother says, "there is no such thing as no snitch rule when it comes to this. You are not snitching at all. Step forward. This was her life, nothing she did was worth this."
Crimestoppers is offering $2500 for information leading to Davis's arrest. If you have information please call Crimestoppers or the Detroit Police.
