Construction worker killed in building collapse in Ypsilanti

A construction worker has died after an accident in downtown Ypsilanti, a fire official tells FOX 2. 

Captain Dan Cain says the worker was in the basement when the first floor collapsed. The building is located in Depot Town at Cross and N. River streets. 

Cain says the worker was unconscious when he was pulled the rubble. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries.
