Jeff Hudson says he works as an Independent Contractor/Delivery Driver for Corporate Transit of America's Livonia office hauling pharmaceutical products.
"We are not asking for anything more than what we deserve." says Hudson "We get paid on the 1 and the 6th of the month and so the 6th of May we got our checks and every one of them bounced."
According to the company's corporate website the business provides services to corporate America with 17-hundred full and part-time employees who operate at a 99.6% on-time performance ratio.
Hudson says when it comes to paying their independent contractors at the Livonia office, the performance rate speaks for itself... and that's why he and others are concerned.
"Our protest involves not doing work for free, and this is not the first issue that we've ever had with this. Every pay period, when people get paid checks are always wrong." Hudson claims.
Fox 2 reached out to the corporate offices but did not receive a response
Hudson says if things don't improve soon he may have to find a new gig.
"I'm confident that tomorrow I'll still be doing the same thing" says Hudson, just for another company.
