Deputies: Possible car bomb explodes in Oakland County, no one hurt

Homeowners of the residence heard a loud explosion in their driveway. They discovered an Chevrolet S10 pickup truck, owned by a family member who was not home and had parked it in the driveway overnight, had been damaged. The homeowners did not see or hear anyone leaving or in the area. There were no injuries. 

The explosion did significant damage to the vehicle. The explosion destroyed the interior of the vehicle sending debris over the yard and the driveway. The windshield of the truck was blown over the home and into the backyard of the residence.

The explosion also shattered a window in the home. No one inside the home was injured.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation, as is a motive. The investigation continues.
