Driver catches semi-truck lose control on New Jersey turnpike

Driving in the north part of the country is dangerous this time of year. Moisture combined with freezing temperatures equals slick and slippery conditions. One New Jersey driver is counting his blessings after surviving a near miss in such conditions.

The driver writes on YouTube that he was blocked in by two trucks while heading south on I95 in New Jersey. According to the video, on truck is blocking 2 1/2 lanes while a third truck is covering the other half. The YouTube user wrote that hew as trying to take a picture while he was stopped and waiting. That's when he heard the noise behind him.

A semi hauling a double trailer began careening out of control towards the car. It narrowly misses the traffic jam and the filming driver before it crashes through the median and barricade and into the other side of traffic.

As the driver pulls away, a fire can be seen coming from the engine of another car. It's unknown if anybody was injured in the accident.
