Hundreds line up to see President Obama speak Monday in Ann Arbor

Election Day is less than 24 hours away, and it's appearing the race for the White House is running right through Michigan. President Barack Obama made a stop in Ann Arbor, Mich. Monday to speak ahead of tomorrow's historic election and campaign for Hillary Clinton.

Air Force One arrived at Detroit Metro Airport around 11:10 a.m. Then, the president made his way to the University of Michigan for the Get Out The Vote rally.

He encouraged voters to head to the polls tomorrow, and talked about Clinton's economic plan and her vision for the future should she become president.

Thousands of students and others filled the Ray L. Fisher Stadium in hopes of hearing the president speak. The link to RSVP says the event has reached capacity.

Hillary Clinton will also be in Michigan Monday in Grand Rapids, along with Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump who will be attending a Women in Business roundtable in Hudsonville Monday morning.

This weekend, Donald Trump spoke in Sterling Heights. You can watch his speech here. His son Donald Trump Jr. will also be in the area Monday, and will be at a meet and greet at Rub Barbecue Pub at 2:30 in Detroit. Then, at 4 p.m., he's holding a rally at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren.

The latest FOX 2 Mitchell poll shows Clinton's lead increased to 5 percent in Michigan. The survey was conducted by Mitchell Research & Communications November 3, 2016 and includes 1,007 likely Michigan voters. You can read more about the poll results here
