The Trump-Pence Michigan Campaign responded to media reports that Bill Clinton will be appearing at Detroit’s annual Labor Day Parade.

Scott Hagerstrom, Trump-Pence Michigan State Campaign Director said:

“Bill Clinton has zero credibility with Detroiters because they know how badly this city has been devastated by the Clintons’ failed trade policies and self-serving political agenda.

"The audacity of Bill Clinton to come to Detroit on Labor Day - a holiday meant to commemorate the amazing contributions of the American worker - while at the same time suggesting that rebuilding Detroit with Syrian refugees is a “pretty good deal” is stunning.

"As if costing workers their jobs wasn’t enough, now the Clintons’ want to hire unvetted Syrian refugees to fill the jobs Detroiters desperately need.  Detroit can have a brighter future, but anyone who is satisfied with the status quo clearly does not understand the pain and suffering some Detroit families still face every day.

"Detroit can do better, Michigan can do better, and Donald Trump is the only candidate that will fight for the Great Lakes State and all Americans as President.”
