Family, neighborhood mourn Detroit mom killed before Mother's Day

Detroit family mourns mother lost shot outside her own home Wednesday night.

40-year-old Nakia Brim was outside her home on Edsel Ford Service Drive Wednesday night. Police say got into an argument with a 29-year-old when a gun was pulled and she was killed

Police arrested the 29-year-old but the Brim's family is now struggling to pay for funeral services.

Her brother, Korey Perry, tells FOX 2 that Brim was the most loving person he knew and the 'neighborhood mother' is leaving behind more than her two daughters.
