Former Minnesota senator says Snyder is running for president in 2016

Is Governor Rick Snyder running for president in 2016? So far Snyder has not confirmed nor denied the question.

On the popular Republican website where is displays all those who have announced they're running for the highest office in the United States there is 29 potential presidential candidates listed and at the bottom of the page is Michigan Governor Rick Snyder.

Governor Snyder hasn't done anything to make the rumors of a possible run go away. Just this weekend Snyder was in Las Vegas to attend a private dinner at the home of Sheldon Adelson. Don't know who Adelson is?

Forbes magazine lists Adelson as the 15th richest person in America. Adelson gave over $100 million dollars to Republicans in the 2012 election and some pundits say that financial assistance from him would be necessary in order to run.

Former Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman who was also at the dinner said of Snyder, "it was my clear impression from my conversation with him that he is running."

Despite the crowded field for the Grand Old Party, some say Snyder would be a welcome fit as the Republican candidate.
