Grosse Pointe North HS closed Thursday A.M for bomb threat

 Grosse Pointe North High School will be closed Thursday morning due to a bomb threat.

In a release by the school district, an anonymous bomb threat said the bomb would be set off at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Physical searches by the city's public safety department as well as the use of bomb sniffing dogs will be used overnight and into the morning.

The school will not serve lunch, but be opened at 12:24 p.m. with 5th hour. 

All afternoon and evening activities including performances and athletics will occur as planned.
