Detroit police have reunited a child with the boys' mother after a toddler was found in the middle of a street on the city's east side.
Police say the roughly one year old boy was found in the middle of the road near Beaconsfield and Grayton around 2:30 Friday afternoon.
According to police, a woman walking saw the boy and didn't see anyone around. She then asked neighbors but none of them said they knew who the boy was. After 20 minutes of searching, she called police.
Officers took the child to the 9th precinct where the boy and his mother were reunited.
Police said the boy was wearing only a diaper at the time he was found. Temperatures were in the low 50s in Detroit at that time.
