Hillary Clinton in Detroit blasts Trump, talks unifying Democrats

Hillary Clinton spoke to members of the SEIU Monday in Detroit.

Hillary Clinton in Detroit was in right now bringing her presidential campaign straight to thousands of local union workers.

The Democrat is keeping her focus on the general election, blasting presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, calling him a "disaster waiting to happen."

Clinton addressed members of the Service Employees International Union at their convention in Detroit and dressing down Republican rival Donald Trump.

"We are going to unify the Democratic Party and stop Donald Trump," Clinton said. "A lot of Republicans themselves say Donald Trump is a disaster waiting to happen."

Clinton claims a Trump presidency would run up the debt, start trade wars and let Wall Street run wild.

"He could bankrupt America like he's bankrupted his companies," she said. "Ask yourself how can anybody lose money running a casino, really."

Clinton also spoke about her Democratic rival Bernie Sanders.

"We are coming to the end of the Democratic Primaries, I applaud Se. Sanders and his supporters for challenging us," she said.

Clinton told those supporters she will take on income inequality - as well paid family leave, equal pay for women, affordable child care, systemic racism, mass incarceration, gun violence and raising the minimum wage.

People at the rally said that message resonated with them. Hillary Clinton in Detroit was in right now bringing her presidential campaign straight to thousands of local union workers.
