- Police are investigating after a man's body was found in a driveway in Inkster. We're told the man did not live at the house where he was found.

Police were called to the area around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday after multiple gunshots were heard. We're told police weren't able to find a body, and that a neighbor saw the body in the driveway several hours later.

Authorities are waiting for a search warrant to get onto the property. The body was found outside a home on Avondale Street, near John Daly Street. Police aren't sure why the man was at the home or in the area.
