18-year-old charged in murder of Huron Twp father defending son
HURON TWP., Mich. (WJBK) - An 18-year-old man is accused of fatally stabbing a Huron Township man as he attempted to break up a fight involving his son.
Stacy Rose, Jr. of Taylor was charged with first-degree murder in the death of 49-year-old Robert Brisco, Sr.
Police say they responded to a call to Huron Estates Mobile Home Park in the area of Charlemagne and Lafferty Court in Huron Township around 10:30 p.m. July 30.
There they found a male victim lying on the ground.
It is alleged Brisco attempted to break up a fight between his sons and a group of teens. That's when Rose stabbed him.
Brisco was a longtime appliance technician, a father of five and a grandfather of three.
