Charlie Langton asks: Do protests really matter?

Do protests make a difference
There's all kinds of protests going on at the Democratic National Convention this week in Philadelphia.
From big protests to little protests, the citizens are making sure their voices are being heard. But Fox 2's Charlie Langton was on the streets Wednesday asking those protesting if they think their efforts really matter to the cause.

Philadelphia resident Joey Cotton says that he is not sure the protestors are making a difference and just wants the protestors to have fun. That is what is important, enjoy the city and the sights.

But Having fun is serious business for the "Black Men For Bernie " movement.  The Black men for Bernie buses are all over in Philly and those in support are making their voices heard.

Black Men for Bernie founder Bruce Carter says that it doesn't matter what race or ethnicity you are, what matters is showing support for Bernie and the Democratic Party and that any kind of protest, big or small does matter.

As of Wednesday, all have been peaceful demonstrations and that was no different Wednesday afternoon.
