All eyes on Hillary entering Thursday's speech

Final day of DNC

All eyes will be on Hillary Clinton Thursday night but a few Michigan women will be taking the stage tonight prior to the big speech.

Making history, the nation's first African American president Barack Obama stood arm in arm with Clinton who would be president should she win over the voters.

A real life fairy tale playing out on this stage in Philadelphia for all the world to see, one that Michiganders both current and former are embracing.

Isiah Thomas gave Hillary his full support. "Hillary getting the chance to be the first woman president that the united states has ever had - it's an exciting time for all of us."

"The richest country in the world should not have their citizens living in poverty. I hope and I pray that this message gets out there," says Detroiter Henrietta Ivey.

The home health care worker from Detroit works two jobs and a hundred hours each week making minimum wage.

Thursdays' theme at the DNC of stronger together will also include speeches by senator Debbie Stabenow and former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm.

Clinton is expected to take the stage sometime after 10 p.m.
