Authorities in Macomb County are searching for the boyfriend of a woman who was found dead inside of her car in Lenox Township Tuesday morning.
Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said deputies were called to a home in the 60000 block of Frost Road around 8:15 Tuesday morning. When deputies arrived, they found a 38-year-old female dead in the driver's seat of a PT Cruiser on the property.
The homeowner is the 911 caller who alerted authorities to the woman's body. The sheriff's office said he is a friend of the victim and is cooperating with their investigation.
Officials are also searching for Jeremiah James Boshell, 37. According to authorities, he is a person of interest in the woman's death and he was last seen driving a grey Ford pick-up truck at the Menard's in Davison.
Wickersham said if anyone sees him not to approach him because he may be armed.
Officials have not said how the woman died and are not releasing her name at this time.
After finding her body, investigators started searching and talking to neighbors.
"He just asked if i seen anything suspicious or heard gunshots but gunshots wouldn't be unusual because we have two gun ranges here," Cindy Miller said.
Boshell was released from prison in 2014. His list of convictions range from gun charges to felonious assault, drunken driving, and fleeing Police.
"We believe that he may be armed and he could be dangerous," Wickersham said. "We're considering him a person of interest. He may be driving a gray Ford pick-up and we're encouraging members of the public to dial 911 and report him to the local law enforcement but please don't approach."
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
