Police: infant, toddler left alone in locked car at Motor City Casino

- Police in Detroit say two young children were left inside of a locked vehicle at Motor City Casino while dad gambled inside Monday morning.

Police said a 2-year-old boy and a 5-month-old boy were removed from a locked car at the casino Monday morning.

According to Detroit Police, they received a call just before 11:30 am on Monday of a report of two kids left unattended inside a locked vehicle at the casino.

Staff were waiting with the car for Detroit Police to arrive but a citizen 'forced entry' into the car, police said.

The two boys were taken out of the car and into a casino office.

When police arrived, they found the father of the children, a 25-year-old man, on the casino floor.

It's unknown if the kids were hurt or how long they were inside the locked vehicle.

Detroit Police said the father was located but did not say if he was arrested. They're still investigating.
