2 children, 2 adults killed in Rose Township mobile home fire

Four people have been killed and two other severely burned in a mobile home fire in Rose Township.

Michigan State Police say fire officials are on the scene of a fire in the 4000 block of Wakewood Court.

MSP Lt. Mike Shaw says the first call came in at about 5:45 a.m. and the house was fully engulfed in flames.

A man and a woman in their mid-20s were killed, along with a 5-year-old and 2-year-old boy. Two men were also badly burned, one suffering burns on over 75 percent of his body. The other person is able to talk and speaking to troopers now. North Oakland County Fire is currently working to put out flames.

The cause of the fire is not yet known as officials speak with neighbors to determine what happened.
