2 dead, 1 injured after being shot in car in Detroit

Police say two young men shot at three people who were sitting in a car on Detroit's east side, killing two and injuring the third. The third victim is in serious condition.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. Wednesday on Rohns Street, near Gratiot Avenue.

Police say a woman was inside her house when she heard someone yelling, and then she heard gunfire.

Detroit Police Deputy Chief Renee Hall told reporters the woman heard about 30 shots being fired.

The suspects are described as two men in their 20s. Police aren't sure of a motive at this time. Hall says they're investigating a white Durango that may have sped away from the scene.
