2 in custody after road rage incident outside Clawson sports bar

Clawson police say two people are currently in custody related to a road rage incident caught on video earlier this month.

Police say on October 15, 2017 a man tried to run over someone in the parking lot of The Hideout, which is a sports bar on 14 Mile near Crooks Road. Police say the suspect also got out of the car with a gun and shot at the victim. The suspect then got away in a black Chrysler 200, driven by a woman who was originally sitting in the passenger's seat.

Police say both the suspected male and female fled to Ohio after the incident.

Police say the female suspect, 24-year-old Latrice Hassel of Madison Heights, came back to Michigan and turned herself in this past weekend. Hassel has been charged with Accessory after the fact of a Felony.

Police say the male suspect, 28-year-old Steven Houston of Madison Heights, is currently in custody in Ohio on unrelated charges. Houston will be brought back to Michigan this week to face the charges of Assault with Intent to Murder and Possession of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. Houston is currently on Parole with the State of Michigan for a similar offense.

Police haven't said what led to the incident.
